Venue hire is $5,500 during the peak season (Nov-April) and $5,000 for the off season (May-Oct). This includes all set up and pack down costs plus includes your reception furniture, wishing well, signage stand, cake table, festoon lighting, menu signage, heaters & blankets (if required), portable bar, glassware, staff and use of sound system with wireless microphone.

Additional styling for your beach ceremony starts from $1,430  from Dunsborough Event Co, our furniture partners.

Yes! We have a BYO package starting from $30pp which includes all glassware, ice, soft drinks, fresh lemons/limes, staff, portable bar and storage. 

The ceremony is no earlier than 4:30pm with reception beginning immediately after at around 5pm. 

Venue hire goes from ceremony start time through the reception conclusion which is based on your beverage package selection (minimum five hours) and can extend through until11:30pm. There are additional charges for weddings concluding past midnight and this must be pre-arranged with your wedding coordinator.

We are experiencing more and more couples opting to have their ‘official’ photos taken before the ceremony. Not only are your hair and make-up still perfect but you won’t feel as pressured to wrap it up quickly to get back to your waiting guests. It also gives you more time with them to party up a storm. The Margaret River area is full of stunning natural locations for really wonderful shots.

If this is case, The Common is a bar / bistro / restaurant just 400m from The White Elephant Cafe. Guests can enjoy a drink and nibble on the deck or play a game of pool inside whilst they wait for your ceremony to start.

We require a $2,500 non-refundable holding fee which secures your preferred date and Dunsborough Event Co cermeony furniture. You'll then receive a Wedding Plan which outlines your initial preferences for menus and contains all the other relevant information you need to finalise the remaining details of your wedding.

Yes. Tentative bookings will be held for a period of fourteen days and will automatically be cancelled unless arrangements have been made to extend the tentative booking period.

Depending on your number of guests, we have the option to set up indoors for both reception and ceremony if the weather doesn’t allow for either to be outside. In the event your numbers are bigger than what can be held within the restaurant a marquee will be arranged at the expense of the bride and groom. We will need ample time to arrange a marquee so please be mindful of this.

In summer, most rain is just a passing shower and, in winter, most weddings are held indoors anyway. We don’t let a little rain get in the way of a great party.

There is a minimum spend for our busy season (on peak) from November - April for $7,500  for food & beverage. For off peak season from May - October there is a minimum spend of $4,500.

Yes! Please arrange an appointment with our wedding planner as they do not work on site. 

No. The Shire regulations state the beach in front of the café is not a dog beach. Horses are not permitted either.

Of course, good boys and girls who are service doggos are allowed to attend the ceremony and reception. Please let us know if any service dogs will be accompanying any of you or your guests.

For cocktail-style, our maximum guest number is 250 on peak and during the off season there is a maximum of 80 guests. 

No. Our venue only hosts cocktail style weddings as the venue is best enjoyed standing watching the beautiful view and dancing the night away. 

Yes. You will need to apply to the shire for permission to get married on the beach. Our wedding coordinator will send out an application form at the appropriate time with the relevant details for you to fill it out. A fee is required and paid directly to the shire (your wedding coordinator will confirm the fee with you). Usually an average cost of $250. 

You’re welcome to add your own elements to the styling provided by Barefoot Beach Weddings and Dunsborough Event Co. All additional styling must be approved by your wedding coordinator.

Yes, we love to make sure everyone is well feed! Our menu caters for a range of dietary requirements including dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian etc. It is your responsibility to determine the dietary requirements of your guests and inform the wedding coordinator during planning to ensure everyone is catered for. 

Prices are calculated based on the date of your wedding and can increase annually.  For further clarification please speak to our wedding coordinator who can provide you with an accurate quote.

Yes! We have a paved area under two of our umbrellas with festoon lighting, making for the perfect dancefloor area! No need to hire one!
